Keep going brother.
Was looking at your little burpee fun fest, interesting. Have been working them back into my routine as well. Good all around conditioning.

A quick trip into the fire,,, 33 for time. 1:20
Had to stop at 30 for about what felt like 7 seconds, vision started to fail.

Keep going

thanks 228
it's all a work in progress
and right now, more than ever, progress is the focus
i'll have to take your leap sometime soon. i remember that "hit" and need to embrace it more often.
stay in touch

Sustainable progress is not found in random application or pseudo-science guesswork. If progress is truly the objective, then identifying individual markers without delineating a clear path of achievement means next to nothing. We've walked the valley of ambiguous effort only to retrace the footsteps of retardation. Seeking greater accomplishment requires more focused training, not just talking about it.

momentum and motivation have been an issue the last year. i fully agree with you on focused training but for me i first need to get back into the habit of consistently training in the first place, even if that means a haphazard approach. unfortunately the reality is that this truly is better than nothing for me right now. it's not where i want to be, it's not where my knowledge should be leading me, and it's not going to result in anything i'm very proud of. however, if retarding my mental desires in order to regain a physical base results in eventually regaining a level of focus and dedication similar to what i had this time a year ago, then so be it. in the end, only time will tell.
